At Bonnyrigg Playgroup, our play based activities are carefully designed by our experienced staff to maximise all learning opportunities and build on each childs individual strengths and abilities through each step of their development.

Playgroup provides an excellent opportunity for your child to undertake a range of new experiences allowing them to interact with other children the same age before they go onto a pre-school nursery place or school

OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Free interactive play between the children (With as little adult interference as possible)

Self-expression and structured play to encourage manual skills

Role-playing activities to develop each childs imagination

All kinds of play which fosters the childs social and interactive skills

OUTSIDE AREA

We have a secure outside area attached to the playgroup where the children are encouraged to play outside in the fresh air. We have a number of outside toys for the children to play on and explore.

Children are supervised at all times and we encourage the children to dress appropriate for outdoor play.

RANGE OF ACTIVITIES

Throughout the sessions, all the children have the opportunity to join in with arts and crafts, painting, role play, construction, puzzles and lots more!
